Next Generation Server Architecture

The Interclypse T2260 Series Servers® are designed as highly expandable, 2U rack chassis servers with a power efficient architecture for enterprise applications. These high performance versatile servers feature the latest generation of Intel® multi-core Xeon® processors, advanced memory, high speed PCI Express 2.0 I/O slots, and flexible high throughput RAID configurations. The Interclypse T2260 Series Servers® were engineered to simplify data center operations through its advanced virtualization and system management technology. Interclypse delivers 2U servers that are ideal for local and remote data centers that require dense performance with a low total cost of ownership.

Optimized for Virtualization

Driven by Intel®, the Interclypse T2260 Series Servers® feature an architecture that enhances virtualization performance with innovative hardware-assist technologies that involves all elements of the server, to include the processor, chipset, and network adapter. Compared to previous generation servers, the T2260 Series Servers® maximize server utilization, provide headroom for growth, and provide increased manageability, security, and flexibility that modern IT environments demand. Latest Multi-Core Technology

The Interclypse T2260 Series Servers® are powered by the new Intel® Xeon® 5600 series processors, codenamed Nehalem. The Nehalem processor delivers performance that adapts to application needs, intelligently scales energy use to performance demands, and offers best-in-class virtualization. Ideal for businesses of all sizes the Intel® 5600 series can automatically increased processor frequency when needed and reduce power during low use times.

Energy Efficient

The Interclypse T2260 Series Servers® are engineered to be energy efficient without sacrificing performance through the use of the Intel® Intelligent Power Node Manager, efficient power supplies that are sized to match the system requirements, and a power sensitive architecture. These technologies allow for a reduction in power and cooling costs while increasing rack density with policy-based power and thermal management.

Simplified Management

A next generation set of tools are available in order to streamline server setup and management. These include the Intel® Server Deployment Toolkit, the Intel® System Management Software, and the Intel® Remote Management Module. These are standards-based products focused on increasing IT efficiency and increasing the overall return on investment.
